Wis. fire department awarded grant for EMS training

Along with training, the funds may be used for ambulances and other EMS supplies and equipment

WATERLOO, Wis. — The Waterloo Fire Department has received a grant for $4,492.88 from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services for emergency medical services training.

The department received $3,730.59 for aid and training and $699.29 for EMT basics training costs.
The aids and training included the base amount of $3,588 plus 3 cent per capita. The improvement funds can be used to purchase ambulance vehicles, vehicle equipment and emergency medical service supplies and equipment not included in the annual budget.
