True North Accepts Applications for the 2011 Training Scholarship

The scholarship will provide an eligible Fire Department, Fire Academy or Organized Fire Training Group up to $3,000 in training with On Scene Training Associates.

In these especially difficult times with budgets being cut to the bone it's critical that firefighters continue to get the training to stay safe and ensure the safety of others. In that spirit True North is offering its second 2011 Training Scholarship which will be awarded to the department which demonstrates the best qualities of the fire service. The scholarship will provide a fire department up to $3,000 for classroom and hands-on training with On Scene Training Associates. The best part is that you get to pick the training topic and True North will bring the training to your station.
