Overview:

The Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance (OJA) has approximately $2 million in funding available to implement daily use of the Wisconsin Interoperable System for Communications (WISCOM) at the local and county level. With this funding, we will help fund up to four local daily use migration grants at approximately $500,000 per grantee.

To begin this process we are requesting concept papers from agencies that are interested in becoming a daily user of WISCOM. Concept papers will be accepted between January 16 and February 28, 2013.

Eligibility:

Counties determined to be eligible for funding, shall submit a letter from each respective governing body or entity that is participating in the County’s communications system, confirming review of all expectations and requirements, and commitment to participate in this program.
