Grant Details: Overview: As a nonprofit organization, Kaiser Permanente Colorado's mission is to improve the health of our members and the communities we serve. Our goal of total community health is deeply embedded in our nearly 40-year history in Colorado as a prevention-oriented health care organization. We invest in our state's communities because health is a human condition that affects us all. Grants: Kaiser Permanente Colorado's grant program in the Denver/Boulder region funds nonprofit organizations in the Denver/Boulder/Longmont metropolitan areas. We are interested in funding locally-based programs that engage multiple sectors and partners to improve the health of Colorado’s communities. Grants typically range from $5,000-$20,000. Our grantmaking provides financial support of programs that address community needs in these four areas: 1. Care and Coverage for Low Income People Learn more about our work addressing these community areas Programs: - Care & Coverage - Community Health Initiatives/ CHI HEAL - Safety Net - Develop and Disseminate Knowledge - Training and Medical Education Organization Eligibility: Organizations are allowed submission of one grant proposal per calendar year, regardless if they are approved or denied. How to Apply: A phone conversation and/or site visit is highly encouraged before beginning the application process.
