Staffing for Adequate Fire & Emergency Response (SAFER) Grants is open through April 27, 2018 at 5 PM ET. The goal of SAFER is to assist local fire departments with staffing and deployment capabilities in order to respond to emergencies and ensure that communities have adequate protection from fire or fire-related hazards.
