WHITLEY CITY, Ky. — McCreary County officials got some good news last week with the approval of two major grant applications.
911/EMS Director Jimmy Barnett announced Friday that the 911 Dispatch Center has been awarded $44,000 from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for new radio consoles.
The funding is the final component in a two-year effort to completely upgrade the department’s equipment.
