2 W.Va. fire departments win recruitment grants

The FEMA money is going to the Bradley-Prosperity Volunteer Fire Department and Triune-Halleck Volunteer Fire Department in Morgantown

BRADLEY, W.Va. — Two West Virginia volunteer fire departments are getting more than $286,000 in federal funds to retain and recruit members.

Sens. Jay Rockefeller and Carte Goodwin and Rep. Nick Rahall announced the funding Tuesday.

They say the Federal Emergency Management Agency money is going to the Bradley-Prosperity Volunteer Fire Department and Triune-Halleck Volunteer Fire Department in Morgantown.

Bradley gets $223,820, while Triune-Halleck gets $63,800.
